The Charlotte 49ers women’s tennis team battled nationally ranked Georgia State on the road over weekend, ultimately falling to the Cougars, 6-1.
Junior Sierra Stone posted the 49ers solo victory after claiming a three set decision in the No. 5 spot. After dropping the first set, Stone rallied back to earn her second victory of the spring since recovering from an early-season injury.
Charlotte returns home Wednesday, April 6 to welcome Campbell at 2 p.m. The match marks the first of three at home for the 49ers extending into the weekend.
