Police Blotter: Reports filed in July

This police blotter is updated every Friday throughout the month of July. 

The following are reports of criminal and other incidents responded to by the UNC Charlotte campus Police & Public Safety in the month of July.

Accident

July 8

University Road and Broadrick Boulevard – Driver of vehicle one lost control of vehicle while pushing it out the way of moving traffic causing it to cross two sidewalks and enter the lake. Minor injuries reported.

July 10

Mary Alexander Road – Officers responded to a call in reference to a vehicle collision involving a police patrol vehicle.

July 11 

Union Deck – Vehicle one collided with vehicle two while driving in the parking deck causing damage to both vehicles. No injuries reported.

July 12

Cameron Boulevard & Darryl McCall Circle – Vehicle one struck vehicle two while making a left turn causing damage to vehicle one. No injuries reported.

July 14

CRI Deck Six – Driver of vehicle one attempted to maneuver around the exit gate arm of the parking deck and caused damage to the vehicle. No injuries reported.

Arrest

July 14

Cameron Boulevard and Alumni Way – During routine traffic stop for expired registration, subject was arrested for an outstanding order for arrest for traffic related offences.

Assault

July 10

Martin Hall – Officers responded to Martin Hall in reference to a subject touching a female in an inappropriate manner.
