The following are reports of criminal and other incidents received by Police & Public Safety from March 25-31

Accident

March 28

Near the Kennedy Building – While backing, driver of vehicle one struck a bollard. No injuries were reported.

March 30

Lot CRI 2 – While backing, driver of vehicle one struck vehicle two. No injuries were reported.

Lot 5 – While exiting a marked parking space, driver of vehicle one struck vehicle two. No injuries were reported.

March 31

Union Deck – Driver of vehicle one stated she veered to avoid another vehicle and stuck vehicle two. Vehicle two was parked and unoccupied. No injuries were reported.

Alcohol Violation

March 25

Witherspoon Hall – Officer issued three state citations in reference to under aged drinking.

Witherspoon Hall – Officer issued three Campus Appearance Tickets in reference to under aged drinking.

Arrest 

March 28

Belk Gym – Subject was arrested for larceny and being in possession of stolen property.

Breaking and Entering

March 31

Scott Hall – Unknown person(s) removed victim’s laptop that was left unsecured in a secured area.

Lot 26 – Unknown person(s) removed items from a vehicle that was left unsecured in a public area.

Lot 36 – Unknown person(s) removed items from a vehicle that was left secured in a public area.

Drug Violation 

March 29

Wooded area near Memorial Hall – Officer issued a state citation in reference to the possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wooded area near Memorial Hall – Officer issued a state citation in reference to subject smoking marijuana.

March 31

Wallis Hall – Officers issued a state citation in reference to possession of marijuana.

Wallis Hall – Officers issued a Campus Appearance Ticket and Trespass in reference to possession of marijuana.

Larceny 

March 29

Scott Hall – Unknown person removed money from two wallets in a room that was left unsecured in a residence hall.

No Contact Order Served 

March 29

Off campus – Subject stated she has repeatedly seen an unknown person in various locations on campus. She believes this person is following her.

Vandalism

March 26

Levine Hall – Unknown subject caused damage to an exit sign in Levine Hall.

March 29

Lot Eight – Unknown person broke off the gate arm at the entrance of lot eight.

March 30

Burson – Unknown person wrote on a bathroom stall partition with marker/ink pen.

March 31

Levine Hall – Officer took a report in reference to a damaged exit sign. Officer spoke to two individuals who stated that while playing in the hall they accidentally damaged the sign.
