Crime Blotter: March 11 – March 17

The following are reports of criminal and other incidents received by Police & Public Safety from March 11 to March 17

Accident

March 11

Library Lane – While turning on to South Library Lane, driver of vehicle one struck a brick retainer wall. No injuries were reported.

March 12

Lot 19 – While backing, vehicle one struck vehicle two that was parked and unoccupied. No injuries were reported.

March 15

Darryl McCall Circle – While backing, vehicle one struck vehicle two that was travelling on Darryl McCall Circle. No injuries were reported.
Cone Deck Lane – While backing, vehicle one struck vehicle two that was waiting to get into the deck. No injuries were reported.
March 17
Lot 5 – Driver of vehicle one stated he was making a right turn to leave the lot and driver two was making a left turn to park when he struck her vehicle. Driver of vehicle two stated that her vehicle was not in motion when her vehicle was struck. No injuries were reported.
Union Deck – Officer took a report of a hit and run.
Attempted Suicide
March 17 
McCall House – Officer responded in reference to an individual that had threatened to harm them self.
Breaking and Entering
March 17
Scott Hall – Unknown person removed victims laptop from her room which was left unsecured in a secured building.
Vandalism 

March 15

Lot 29 – While attempting to get out of his vehicle, a gust of wind caught the driver’s door and swung it into the parked vehicle next to his. The owner of the damaged vehicle was contacted.

Union Deck – Unknown person caused damage to the victim’s vehicle. The damage consisted of a shattered rear glass, a large dent to the rear of the vehicle, a large crack to the rear bumper, a stolen antenna and a stolen piece of the roof rack.
