CAB to host Beat the Banker event, prizes up to $600

| February 18, 2015

UNC Charlotte’s Campus Activities Board (CAB) will host Beat the Banker Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. in Student Union room 340 D-I.

The game show is similar to a popular television game show, as explained by CAB Special Events Crew Chief, Domonique Byers.

“It is eerily similar to the popular game show Deal or No Deal,” said Byers.

As in Deal or No Deal, students will pick cases, having a chance to win up to $600.

“The selection process to see who gets a chance to win will be very random and consists of games like Simon Says, random trivia and most excited student,” said Byers.

The game show is being provided by Game Shows To Go, and is open to any UNC Charlotte student.

CAB is hosting many more events in February including Make Your Own Mardi Gras Feb. 17, Union Takeover: Self Love Feb. 20 and Step Afrika Feb. 23.
