When it comes to make up, I feel like lipstick can make or break a look. It can completely change someone’s face based on the color and shade of their lips.
When I ran out of my favorite YSL red lipstick, I went to CVS to look for a cheap alternative because being a college student, spending $35 on a good lipstick is just not reasonable. When I passed the Revlon section I came across the Revlon Colorburst balm stain.
The color I picked up was Striking Spectaculaire, which is a matte red lipstick. Revlon claims it to act like a lightweight lip-stain with a moisturizing balm for the perfect color and feel. I can honestly say that applying this was like applying the perfect chapstick, it is so moisturizing and the color pay off is impeccable.
The balm stain is 100% long-lasting, stayed put for eight or more hours, and stayed on while eating and drinking which is amazing for a lip product.
The Balm Stain retails for $9.29, which is a reasonable price for a long wear lip product.
